Big turn out for the Lupus Concert!

We are just over the moon about last night's concert in Lupus, Mo.  The place was nearly packed with folks from all over central Missouri.  Our good friend Jim Ruth was there (with banjo in hand), so we invited him up on stage with us for several fiddle/banjo tunes.  Jim was just fantastic!  Doug Elley is the owner and host of the Lupus General Store concert series.  A huge "thank you" to his hospitality and work in keeping such a terrific venue open for live music!  After the show, we participated in a song circle jam session featuring local talent.  Our favorite was the lovely Doris, 86 years young and still singing like a songbird!
Here we are before the concert, taking a selfie at the front door. The property directly next door to the General Store is the old Lupus Bank.  You can still see the safe on the right side of the picture.  Lupus is a little gem of a town, inhabited by 33 folks, right on the banks of the Missouri River about 30 miles south east of Boonville.  Visit the Lupus General Store Facebook page for a list of upcoming concerts.
